The Brandywine Cyclery Standard Tune-Up
During our Standard Tune-Up we treat the bike to a thorough review of its mechanicals to ensure safe operation. Can't remember the last time you had your bike tuned up? Now is the time! The Standard Tune-Up includes:
- A proper cleaning of the bike performed with an eye for detail
- Both wheels are removed from the bike, cleaned, and tuned to be True & Round
- Brakes are adjusted to ensure good stopping power and function
- Shifters and derailleurs are adjusted for optimum, smooth performance

The Brandywine Cyclery Total Overhaul
Our favorite service to perform on everything from neglected classics to high-performance race machines. The Total Overhaul is much more than a service, it is extreme TLC for your bike. After dropping off your bike we treat it like one of our very own (and we love our bikes). The Total Overhaul includes all of the above services of a Standard Tune-Up along with the following:
- All bearings (headset, bottom bracket, front and rear hub) are removed from the bike, cleaned, and re-packed with fresh high-performance grease
- All brake and derailleur cables and housing are replaced with new units
- Handlebar wrap is replaced with the color and style of your choosing
- Top-quality lubes, cleaners, and polishes are used to ensure stunning good looks
